Can you help Santa?

During December they knock on doors and spread Christmas cheer with Santa on their specially made float. However, they can't do it alone - and this is where your good cause or charitable organisation comes in. Can you provide a minimum of 15 volunteers who are aged 16 or over, and can spare one evening in December? If so, then good news, you can apply to take part in their annual collection!

They need around 20 organisations to help them bring Santa to the good boys and girls in the area each year, but they do tend to get more groups applying than there are places to fill. For this reason they have an application process that means all groups are given their chance to put forward their reasons for needing their support.

Groups wanting to apply to take part will need to visit lichfieldroundtable.co.uk and click ‘Santa’s Christmas Float’ to fill in the application form.

Their Santa float begins this year on December 1st and will happen every night in December until the 23rd. We will keep you posted throughout December on his whereabouts so look out for us on Face Book and Twitter .

Santa will also be helping to turn on Lichfield’s Christmas lights in the Market Square this year on Sunday 23rd November, where families will get the chance to see the big man himself.
