The Lodge is outstanding in every way. An extensive menu with first class food, friendly welcome and efficient service, and a great ambience. It's also not too expensive as you can take your own alcholic drinks.

Huge menu choice - food ingredients, flavours excellent. Warm welcome on arrival, staff friendly and very efficient, nothing is too much trouble. This is a restaurant for every occasion. "The Lodge" is the best in Lichfield.

From the moment you arrive and are helped from the car to reception, table service and departure, you experience nothing other than great courtesy. The dining area with it's split level is attractive and the tables always have some decoration. The menu is extensive, the food delicious and you can take your own wine.

Definitely the place to go,for a really good Indian meal/balti. The food is delicious and the service is very personal and efficient. The staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing.

The food is absolutely amazing. You can't get an Indian curry like this anywhere else and the staff are so friendly that's why we've become regulars!

Been there a few times now - great service, wonderful food, vast menu, reasonable prices - the best curry house in the area, I would say. They even do a free delivery to South Lichfield, which is handy. Always packed out on each of my visits, whatever day of the week. There is also a car park attendant on site who actually remembers the exact car you turned up in and walks you back and insists on opening the doors for you - not sure if he's after a tip, so actually it's the only part of the experience that makes us feel a little uncomfortable. Can take your own drinks, which is good and brings the bill down. I look forward to my next visit.

We eat at the Lodge on a regular basis and I have to say I think it is the best Indian restaurant around. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. We like the fact it is ʼbring your ownʼ as it keeps the cost down allowing you to choose exactly what you wish to drink at supermarket prices. The food is exceptional from both a preparation and taste perspective. The nan breads come out fresh and piping hot. I would recommend the Lodge to anyone who likes good indian food. It is best to make reservations even during the week.

This place is fantastic!!! One of the best indians I have ever had. My girlfriend is a vegetarian so to see a around 20 different vegetarian options pleased her as in a typical restaurant you would expect to see only 2 or 3. Staff were fantastic really made us feel at home and 2 courses each for £25. We were luck to get a table and that was on a Tuesday night so would definatley advise booking. Chairs are a bit uncomfortable but the rest of the experience makes up fot that. Will definatley be visiting again.
