Peter came up with wonderful ideas for my kitchen in 2002, never giving up on my slightly wackier ideas like curved cupboard and drawer doors! He has always been readily and happily available to come and fix any minor problems, and even refinish scratches etc, so as to keep the whole space looking as good as new. Great value all round, especially when compared with off the peg Magnet/Ikea etc options - no competition. Highly recommended from me!

I've just had my kitchen done by The Dovetail Joint and thoroughly recommend them. Peter Davies, who owns the company, came and measured up and designed an amazing kitchen which was hand made, increased the storage capacity and introduced many clever features that only a bespoke kitchen designer has the flexibility to do. When I saw their website I fell in love with kitchens they'd designed and now I have one of my own - magic!

The business is a kitchen design/manufacture business run by Peter Davies. He is a marvellous person to work with. HIghly intelligent, very capable and with great patience. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he is prepared to spend as long as it takes to ensure that the client is happy. The extraordinary thing is that his prices are more than reasonable and a fraction of the cost of the brand name kitchen designers but with the same or even better quality.

The people are just lovely, they craft handmade kitchens, they make them locally, they are prepared to sit with you for hours mulling over design issues, the kitchens are beautiful, sleek, contemporary and solid and, whatsmore, they give the best aftersales service imaginable -- still coming over to change lightbulbs and repolish the beautiful wooden worktops over 2 years later, and for free! Can't recommend highly enough (and have done so often).

This is bespoke carpentry at its best. I gave Peter a picture of a (very expensive) kitchen I wanted to copy. He and his team of fine craftsmen managed to produce EXACTLY what I wanted, to time, at a much lower cost than I would have had to pay had I gone to the designers of the kitchen I wanted. He also helped me choose a work surface and paint colour. Their 'after sales' service is great too.
