The home is situated in one of the most beautiful settings at the foot of the South Downs, in Kingston and only a few miles from the historic town of Lewes.

Enjoying wonderful views over the surrounding countryside, the purpose built care home provides a homely and relaxed atmosphere, with individual care to the highest standards of excellence.

Dove Cottage Residential Care Home is run by fully trained staff who aim to provide a comfortable and peaceful home for residents at all times.

Home residents can enjoy privacy and independence while at the same time receiving care that supports their individual needs.

There are seven en-suit bedrooms, each with a nurse call system, private telephone point, TV aerial, and decorated and furnished to the highest level. 

In the summer months meals are frequently enjoyed outside, or alternatively the Care Home has a large dining room and lounge that enjoy views of both the Downs and gardens.

The care staff also provide activities such as cooking, flower arranging, afternoon films, scrabble, shopping trips, days out, theatre trips, drives to the seaside and much much more.

We try to ensure Dove Cottage is a home from home.  Visitors are always welcome, and there are now restrictions on visiting times.

The Home is registered by East Sussex County Council as an approved Residential Care Home.  As such it is subject to regular inspections and unannounced visits by officers of the Commission for Social Care Inspection.
