Originally selling fresh and frozen Indian food all around Lewes and Sussex we expanded 4 years ago to set up Chaula's Indian Cafe Restaurant.
We believe that Indian cuisine is a combination of subtle taste. Flavours are as varied as the climate and as exotic as the people of India. The appreciation of spices and combination is an acquired art and can only be achieved after many, many years of studied blending, cooking and tasting.
At Chaula's Indian cafe Restaurant, we value our patron's opinions and concerns in the modern day world of health consciousness - our scrumptious food is prepared only with Sunflower Oil that is low in cholesterol, with freshly ground spices, without the use of artificial flavours and colourings.

If you want to experience the best this is it. The food is fresh, spicy and wholesome. The restaurant and staff never disappoint, and do not be afraid to ask for more spice, cream or heat it is all cooked to your preference. But if you are in a rush take a look at their takeaway selection. Both fresh and frozen the quality and quantity will have you returning again and again. If you are in Lewes this has to be a must.
