This little chocolate shop is just off the High Street, in the narrow lane opposite Lewes Castle, tucked away but easy to find.
Now in its 20th year Bonne Bouche continues to provide the best chocolates at the lowest prices.
The owner first learned about good chocolate when running the Confectionery Department at Fortnum & Mason.
She subsequently opened her own shop and assembled her collection compiled from over 15 different suppliers.
With over 90 flavours available, the only customer complaint is that they don't know which to choose.
Along with long-standing favourites like Champagne truffles, violet creams and ginger in dark chocolate. There is the occasional surprise, such as the increasingly popular chilli truffles.
You will find a range of truffles, pralines, lavish Belgian fresh creams, as well as elegant and traditional English handmade chocolates. There are also Belgian diabetic chocolates for those on a sugar-free diet.
Chocolates apart, there is genuine Turkish Delight, blissful butter fudge, and in summer, luscious home-made ice cream made from fresh fruit and double cream.
