The Counselling Therapy Centre
Local Counselling Therapy Service in Birstall, Leicester
What is Counselling Therapy?
A Counsellor is there to assist you to explore and resolve difficulties that are being experienced, clarify conflicting issues and help you discover alternative ways of managing yourself and situations so that you can decide what course of action or behaviour is helpful to you. Essentially helping people to help themselves. Counsellors are trained not to judge or offer advice. The overall aim is to provide an opportunity for you to work towards living in a way you find more satisfying and resourceful. The objectives of each particular counselling relationship vary according to the individual's needs.
Counselling offers an opportunity for you to discuss your thoughts and feelings in a safe, confidential setting. Maybe to speak the unspeakable without concerns of what others might think. It is therefore important to find the right professional to accompany you on your journey of therapeutic exploration.

- Stress/Anxiety/Depression;
