Entrepreneurial mums are being invited to a free Saturday seminar later this month at the East Midlands Franchise Show
The event features franchises and business opportunities which are particularly suitable for those busy mums who have ever fancied running their own business - but also need part time or flexible working hours.
Event organiser Leah Totton explains that the thirst for self employment is as high as ever.
"We have run the mums' seminars in seven other cities and the thirst for flexible working and supplementary income seems to grow each time.
We have some great business ideas on show; franchises for kids parties, learning & education, fashion, dating, weight loss/fitness, marketing. And, best of all, each franchise offers a proven formula showing how other busy mums have succeeded juggling self employed work and family life".
Entrepreneur Laura Swetman - herself a mum who juggles elf employment with family life - will host a forum where the franchises hope to impress the audience with their business concept - plus there will be advice on hand for those mums already in business who wish their idea to be franchised too.
The seminar takes place at 1.30pm on Saturday 20th May at Leicester Racecourse Conference Centre, Oadby (4 Miles south of Leicester city centre). No tickets need and it's free to enter.
Kids are welcome and there's even a free mini buffet too. Further details and registration for the event can be seen online on www.eastmidlandsfranchiseshow.co.uk.
