The Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre, situated near Launceston in Cornwall, is one of the few wildlife parks in Britain where you can view the British Otter close up in natural surroundings.
The Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre near Launceston was originally established to re-home and breed the British Otter at a time when their very existence in the wild became precarious. The programme was a success, and the otter is once again a part of our landscape - and the original otter centre is now home to not only otters but deer, wallabies. owls, waterfowl and peacocks too!
The Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre is one of the most popular wildlife centres in Cornwall, offering entertainment for the whole family, with it's woodland walks, picnic areas, aviaries, lakes and a waterfall all being home to animals that are very happy to share their home with you.
Easy to find - Located near Launceston and the A30, easy access from the Launceston local area and from all over Cornwall for all day family entertainment
