I was reading the Local Newspaper when I saw this article relating to new jobs which are being created for Lambeth Borough residents.

You can read the entire article below. I have copied it from the Local newspaper without permission so if anyone has any issues with me posting it, simply drop me an email and I will have it removed.

Just doing my bit to help spread the word :)

Up to 800 jobs are being created at a new hotel in Lambeth that is set to open up early next year.

Managers at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel are holding a recruitment day with the Waterloo Job Shop to find local people to fill the vacancies. The event takes place at the Lilian Baylis Community Hub in Lollard Street, SE11 and will be a chance for people to find out more about jobs on offer and how to apply.

The new hotel will be one of the biggest to be built in London in recent times, with more than 1,000 bedrooms. It will also boast six restaurants, cafes and bars and grand ballroom and a spa.

Andrew Swindells, the hotel’s general manager, said: “We are committed to providing a wide range of good jobs for people right here in our own community. The Waterloo Job Shop Open Day will be a great opportunity for us to meet with local residents and provide them with details about our friendly work environment, our on-the-job training and the support we offer our team.”
The event runs from 2pm to 8pm on October 1 and places can be booked by calling 020 7926 8760.
