This scam email claiming to be from Tesco Bank reads:
Subject: Free Tesco Christmas Voucher Shop For Free
Dear Customer
Tesco Bank is giving you a chance to shop for free at any of our tesco outlets or online by giving out free tesco vouchers.
This offer is only for Tesco Credit Card owners and it will be on until the 1st of January, 2013.
To Qualify,follow the link below and input all the details required:

After validation, if selected your voucher will be sent via text message or posted to your Mailbox.

The email is not connected with the Tesco Bank in anyway.
If you click on the ‘validate’ link you will be taken to a fake version of the Tesco Bank website which is used to gather details which could be used to commit fraudulent activity on the account.
Trading Standards advise if you receive this email do not click on any links and delete the message.
If you receive an email which you think is a scam you can report it to Action Fraud via their online fraud reporting tool or to Citizens Advice consumer helpline via their online reporting form.
