What makes True's Yard such a special place to work in, and more importantly to visit, is the real community spirit and atmosphere that comes from all the wonderful, hard working volunteers who give True's Yard that extra special magic.

They staff the gift shop and local history book shop, run a lovely traditional tearoom, provide wonderfully informative guided tours, keep the garden area and Museum in tip top condition, help people searching though our archives..... In short True's Yard Fisherfolk Museum is a wondeful place to visit and marvel at the lost community of Lynn's North End, and enjoy a welcome pot of tea and bit of cake too!

I can thoroughly recommend Trueʼs Yard to both visitors and local people alike as an outstanding and intimate portrayal of the Townʼs fishing heritage and the people of the ʼNorthendʼ. It holds in trust the very essence of who we are and the values we stood for...our ʼheritageʼ.
