The show is aimed at those near, at and in retirement; those who care for others and those who may be in receipt of care themselves. Many of the people attending will have someone that they are looking after either at home or in a home but others will be living an active retirement.
We have taken a good look at the issues that are concerning this group of people and then invited exhibitors that we feel match with these needs and concerns. The result, is a wonderful mix of exhibitors who will be there offering help and advice on the very relevant issues concerning people at this particular stage in their life.
The idea and aims of the show is to be an information portal, packed full of exhibitors giving information on things that people at, near and in retirement should know about.
These and many other similar questions will be answered by our exhibitors who are all experts in their professions for example:-
- Is life in the bathroom becoming difficult, would you like to know more about a wet room?
- What would happen if I was not able to make decisions any more?
- I need more room to care for my elderly relative, what does an extension cost?
- Are there any new housing schemes especially for elderly people?
- Are there people who will come in to ensure my relative is taking their medication?
- I want to stay in my own home, is there a company that provides live-in care?
- Getting an income is difficult, is there another answer?
Refreshments are available on site and parking is available nearby. Wheelchair access is via a ramp and there are 3 disabled spaces at the front of the Hall.
The Town Hall is a superb venue used for wide variety of events in which we are planning an unmissable day for our visitors from Kidderminster and the surrounding areas.
