Wyre Forest Dance Festival
Monday 13th-Friday 17th February 2012
This popular and well established event takes place annually during the February half term. Performers from local Midlands dance schools compete in a range of categories from Ballet solos to Cabaret groups, over 1000 entries are received for entry to the various categories.
Wyre Forest Dance Festival starts on Monday 13th February and finishes on Friday 17th February. It starts at 9.00am and finishes approx. 8.00pm most evenings.
Spectators are invited to come and watch competitors at a charge of £3.00 per person for adults and £2.00 for children and senior Citizens.
Programmes will be available from the Worcestershire Hubs at Kidderminster Town Hall, Stourport Civic Centre or Bewdley Cash Office for £2 a copy, from Mid January in the year of the festival.
The festival will come to an end with the Junior, Intermediate and Senior Championships at the end of the week. This is when the adjudicator chooses the best of the competition to enter these championships, with the winner and the runners up receiving trophies.
