Volunteering
KEMP currently has a number of volunteers. There are many areas that people can volunteer in, be it with patients in Day Care or behind the scenes in fundraising. Their volunteers range from 18 to 75 and whether you are a young mum who would like to return to work but feel a little out of touch, or retired and want to contribute your extensive experience in a meaningful and relevant way they have a role to suit you.
KEMP provides a full induction programme, on-going support and training. KEMP also covers any expenses your work might produce. Volunteer activity is highly satisfying and research shows that volunteering will benefit you as much as those you help.

Fundraising
Why KEMP needs your support...
At KEMP Hospice, their services are provided free of charge to their patients and their families. Each year approximately seven weeks running costs are funded by the Primary Care Trust, so the remaining forty five weeks are funded by the good nature of the local community.
The cost of running their specialist service increases year on year, for 2008-2009 the Hospice's operating costs are expected to be in excess of £600,000.
Whether you are an invidual, group or business, there are ways you can help.
