The restaurant just arrived and people were interested in trying it out. Straight away it was getting good reports about the lovely food. Within the first year many people had heard of this restaurant and not just in the surrounding area. The owner obviously had a vision and went for it and it worked out well for them. I class this restaurant as the "posh" one for this area. Even the lunchtime menu is a treat. The staff are very attentive and polite. I give this place 10 out of 10 and have never been disappointed.

The staff are really great - very polite and accommodating and have a good sense of humour too. Really helpful at recommending different choices on the excellent menu and they have some great themed nights with entertainment. Having 2 very young children we don't get out as much as we would like but when we do we always phone The Old Bakehouse first for a reservation.

After being recommended by a friend who lived in Rothwell and worked in Kettering with me we decided to try the Old Bakehouse in Kettering . We have now been there on a number of occasions for lunch and evening meals and we have never been dissapointed. It is one of my favourite restaurants and the service and staff is wonderfull. Even when they have had large parties to cater for and you need to wait in the wine bar for your time slot at the back of the restaurant, they are still making sure they speak with everybody who is waiting and making sure they are aware of what is going on. Not that we have ever been kept waiting for long anyway. I would throughtly recomment this restaurant to anybody.

The atomsphere of the place is awesome, the decor is warming and inviting, very comfortable. It has 3 levels and the tables set out in such a way that you can have an intimate dinner with a loved one but also a get together with several friends and enjoy yourself without disturbing others. The food is always cooked fresh and is always yummy! I have been several times and would recommend it to anyone. The staff are always friendly but do not disturb you too much so you can get on and enjoy the meal. My husband and I have booked to go for Valentines day and we can't wait.....!

The Valentines Day special menu was out of this world, and the Rat Pack Nights are very entertaining. The Old Bakehouse in Rothwell is a beautiful little restaurant serving good quality food at a reasonable price. The menu is sophisticated yet not intimidating and the service was excellent; despite having made a late booking we were still treated excellently by staff. There is also a busy, attractive lounge bar that in future we look forward to relaxing in before our meal.

Firstly the service is excellent from meet and greet, to taking orders to keeping your glass filled. The serving staff always know their menu, what the specials are and if they are running low of anything or are out, and they tell you this before you make your choice which avoids disappointment. Then food is always of excellent quality, beautifully presented and very tasty. The wine list is great with really good, reasonable priced house wine. We have never had a bad experience here and i would recomment this restaurant as a must try for anyone living in Northants and Leicester.
And finally, one of my personal tests of a restaurant, the toilets are pristine and modern and always fully stocked.
