Disability stalwart honoured by Queen!
Alexandra Bell has been given an MBE in the the New Year Honours

A campaigner who has helped hundreds of people with learning disabilities by raising awareness of their needs has received an honour from the Queen.
Alexandra Bell has been made an MBE for her services to people with learning disabilities in Northamptonshire.

Mrs Bell, of Havelock Street, Kettering, has a mild learning disability, is partially sighted and has two grown-up daughters with learning disabilities.
