Recommended restaurants in and around Kettering competed against each other in Thebestof Kettering's business award for the best restaurant 2009. The restaurant with the most votes from their customers were the winners. So the diners of Kettering and the surrounding villages had the power to decide who wins this prestigious restaurant award.
Right from the start as each of the businesses got their customers to join in the voting. Early on The Palmichael in Burton Latimer took the lead but The Old Bakehouse in Rothwell and The Mazza Indian Restaurant consistently got votes over the month. In the last week it was The The Old Bakehouse that came through to reach the winning line with the most votes for their services. Dozens of new testimonials came through too showing that the customers were very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere they were being offered.
