I visited The I-Site recently as I had received glowing references about Nigel, the owner, and the eyewear on offer. The shop is unlike anything you've seen before- it has a very strong boutique classy feel and the interior design is very fresh and pleasing to the eye. I was immediately drawn to a shelf containing a particular range of sunglasses which I imagined would be very expensive only to be told by Nigel that they were in fact one of his lower cost ranges. I was impressed! The range of eyewear is unlike anything I had seen before - wearable, affordable and most importantly a lot of them suited me. I was very tempted to buy 4 pairs but had to be restrained. I will certainly be going back and have since spoken to various friends and clients who live nearby and suggested they also go and check the I-Site out.

What a great experience I had when I attended The i-Site for an eye test some months ago. The shop is very stylish and welcoming as are the staff. Fortunately for me the results of my test were that I did not need glasses. Had I needed them I would have had no problem in finding a suitable frame since there are a good “stylish” variety to choose from. I have recommended “ The i-Site” to both colleagues and friends and hope that they will visit soon. Thank you again for a pleasurable experience.

The service from the very beginning was great. Good communication about the appointment, a friendly atmosphere when I arrived and a very thorough eye test. The result was that I don't need new glasses yet, so I was gently asked if I can be contacted within a year to repeat the test. No pushy selling and this is what I like!

Truly fantastic service coupled with a great range of funky eyewear. The store layout is cool, easy to navigate and offers great accessories as well! I'll be back!

I just wanted to thank you and the team for turning a dreaded occurrence into a really brilliant experience. From the excellent eye test, to the help you gave me in picking the right frames I constantly felt that you and your team had my happiness in mind. I’m sure that if I were in one of the chain opticians they would have persuaded me to take the most expensive frames with no regard for what suited me, but you were brilliant and I am ecstatic with my specs. I can’t recommend you highly enough and have already been urging anyone who needs to get their eyes tested or wants some new frames to visit your supreme shop.

I thought this would be more expensive than high street opticians, but this has turned out to be a real find. Lovely, interesting selection of frames; very competitive rates for tests, lenses and frames; helpful friendly staff and a beautifully designed shop. Will definitely be using this as my regular opticians.

Just a short walk down King Street but a world away in quality and value the i-site offer excellent service and mega cool frames. I love it.

The I Site is not like your normal optician. Instead, I found the team knowledgeable, friendly, offering great advice and providing a very personal service. They have a fantastic selection of glasses from some smaller boutique designers and if something doesn't look good on you, they tell you....nicely! If you're after something a bit different that you won't see everyone wearing, I definitely recommend The I Site.

I stumbled across the shop when I was walking past and it looked so interesting that I decided to pop in for a browse. What a fantastic shop you have and such a great choice of glasses. It had to have been the most pleasurable experience I had in days!! It felt like stepping into my own home, where you know you feel totally comfortable! I didn't even notice the time fly as I was seduced by the music playing in the background, and the wonderfully well made cups of tea from Nigel himself! (although, make sure you eat the biscuits quickly, as he will be sure to help you get through them.) Anyway, back to the glasses experience. I am now a proud owner of the best glasses i have ever had, and I am finding excuses to wear them,just so that I can relive the experience again :) The staff are amazing, too!! They are competent, thorough and very friendly. I would heavily recommend that
from now on, use i-site as your opticians, and go in and see for yourself!!!

Great place inside..was a nice surprise to the area .....great glasses in there too, real funky ones....had a ball trying them on ..and the staff are nice ..had a giggle with them :-)
