I LOVE this college because they provide a fair and informative service. They teach a wide variety of students and help them change for the good. They also have many oppurtunities for the students and help keep them off the streets for as long as possible.

I came to KCC and joined the BTEC First Diploma in Art and Design: Multimedia and Graphics. After building a portfolio of work I was accepted onto the National Certificate in Multimedia at the College.
The students and tutors in my class were great and the college was a nice environment to join. I knew what I wanted to achieve, but the college has helped me to go a step further towards my goals. My course helped me to develop my design skills along with skills in team working, the facilities we are able to use are of a high standard and the college overall is great!

I joined the BTEC First Diploma in Art and Design: Multimedia and Graphics which offered her the right balance of Art, Design and Graphics.
The course taught me how to work from a professional brief; it gave me freedoms and restrictions, but helped me to work under the pressure of deadlines. The course was interesting because there were people from different countries and of varying ages. You can learn a lot from so many different characters. Our tutor helped us to recognise what would suit us after our course and I am now on the National Certificate in Multimedia at the College and planning to go to University! I feel so much more confident and optimistic

The tutors and the college are really friendly and welcoming but they also encourage you to work hard. I have learned how to work with deadlines and am receiving help with application to University. I am now on the National Certificate in Multimedia. Being in this college put me back on track and made me think about the future seriously. The College is full of adults so it feels like it's more serious to do work and not mess around!

I took the BTEC First Diploma in Art and Deisgn: Multimedia and Graphics.

The course was exactly what I've always enjoyed as a hobby, but never imagined that I could take it as a career. College was so different from school and much better. I would always recommend people going to college instead of sixth form because my experience was so good. The tutors treat us fairly and equally like proper adults. I have improved upon my painting and computer skills and also on my imagination, creativity and even communication skills. I was accepted onto the National Certificate in Multimedia and I now feel more confident about my skills and talents. I feel I may do very well in Higher Education with my new skills. Thank you to the tutors and the college for their support.

Studying Arabic A level at KCC has helped me significantly in confirming my future career. The course has given me a deeper insight into Middle Eastern language, literature, life, history and culture which I found intriguing. My translation techniques have been greatly improved as a result of individual tutorials which proved very helpful. The timing and flexibility of the classes suited my need to balance them with other courses.

I chose KCC because it was my local college, and it had a good reputation as somewhere where you could study and not be too distracted by loads of other teenagers. The best bits of my course were meeting loads of new people, combining the 3 days studying at college with practical work placements 2 days in every week, therefore being able to put the theory into practice.

I am now working as a nursery nurse in the reception class of a local primary school. The highlight of working in childcare is when a child eventually is able to count, read or write and I know that I have contributed to that.

I am considering doing the Foundation degree in Early Years at KCC as a stepping stone to becoming a teacher or opening my own nursery but this year I am having a break from studying and enjoying my assignment free weekends!

I always thought that a career in dance would be tough to pursue, but the positive support I received from my tutors at KCC encouraged me to keep at it and not give up. The course helped me to understand what I really wanted out of life and how to achieve it. Before I enrolled I was worried about the age factor – I thought it might become an obstacle, but not once throughout the whole year did I ever feel like it was a problem. Meeting people on the course from different backgrounds, who all shared the same dream, made me realise that it was possible to reach my goals. The KCC course has opened many doors and turned my dream from a fantasy into reality.

I was unemployed after leaving school and decided to come to KCC for help in finding a job. KCC helped me pass my GCSE maths and E2E found me an apprenticeship role as an Executive Assistant and I am on my way to becoming a Business Executive.

If it wasn't for e2e I would still be looking for a job and wondering what I want to do with my life.

I found the tutors at KCC helpful and very supportive. I was given a lot of encouragement and motivation which enabled me to complete the course. I am now a qualified nursery officer and I have a much better understanding of childcare.

I enrolled on the CACHE Award/Certificate/Diploma in Childcare and Education straight from school. I was awarded a Learner Achievement Award this year.

My course offered me the opportunity to understand childcare and what it involves through written and investigative study, as well as research and practical work in my placement. It helped me to learn new skills and about myself and what I am capable of achieving.

I enrolled at KCC instead of doing my A levels. I was awarded a Leaner Achievement Award this Year.
The college as a whole has a really friendly atmosphere. Wherever you go there is always a friendly smile and ongoing support. My tutors were absolutely amazing. They were all intelligent people who really inspired me. Each and every one of them supported me throughout my course, through building upon my confidence and academic abilities.

I started off studying a Level 1 Childcare course and decided to continue on to level 2 NVQ which is when I got the job as SEN Teacher Assistant.

The tutors at KCC are very understanding, helpful and supportive. I am not much more confident speaking English and, as a full-time mother, the course worked out perfectly for me. I plan to go onto a higher level with my teaching.

I completed a Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care through Train to Gain and was also presented with a Learner Achievement Award this year. I never dreamt I would ever be awarded anything like this. I did not have a good education but thanks to KCC I am feeling good about the future!
