The Bush Theatre
Well known for the discovery, development and production of some of the most exciting new playwrights, the Bush Theatre boasts artistic excellence.
Opened in 1972, the theatre has shaped the future for British theatre, having produced hundreds of pioneering premiers and guest hosted productions by leading companies and artist's worldwide.
Now, 2011-12 marks the most important year in the Bush's history as it is moving into a new building, ahead of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Bush in 2012.

New Venue
In partnership with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, the Bush Theatre has secured an 125 year lease on the old Shepherds Bush Library - a spacious, historic and beautiful building in the heart of the community which allows the Theatre to expand its capacity for audience members, host its supporters in a café bar and increase its work in the community through additional activity.
All eyes will be on the Bush during 2011-12, as this much loved local theatre and international institution, opens its doors and unveils its new venue.
