Silkworth Lodge is a marvellous, much needed and deserving charity taking in alcholics and drug users. They have been a lifeline to us and many, many others I should imagine. They work tirelessly with those in their care and their families and run a wonderful programme with ongoing aftercare. Families are also included in some of their weekly meetings at their premises, and always get a warm, friendly welcome, like a home from home.

Durrell are a wonderful organisation that have done so much for wildfile conservation as a result of both their captive breeding progam in Jersey and their work in saving endangered species in the wild. As a regular visitor to their wildlife park in Trinity I can recommend a visit so that you can learn more about what they are doing, see the animals and also have a great day out!
