The Victoria in The Valley (usually know as 'The Vic in the Valley') is a traditional Jersey Pub that re-opened its doors in October 2008 following extensive re-furbishment by its new tenant and now offers a tasty range of traditional country pub food 7 days per week. Whatever your taste you are sure to find something to tantalize your taste buds!
The new team which is lead by Justin Pledger, are enthusiastic and dedicated to making your visit to The Victoria in the Valley a memorable experience whether you are just calling in for a drink or dining with them. Justin has been in the pub and catering business for over 15 years and previously was the Manager at the Boat House at St.Aubin.
The pub stocks a wide range of draft beers/lagers and also has a well chosen range of wines to complement their various dishes.
In the restaurant the full menu is available daily (Excluding Monday) for both lunch and dinner. However, at lunch time there is also a selection of fresh sandwiches with a choice of crusty baguettes or ciabatta served with crisps and a small local salad. Hot homemade soup is also available at lunch times.
All meals are freshly prepared using fresh ingredients and whenever possible Jersey produce is sourced. Of particular note are the homemade pies, all of which are made to order using short crust pastry and can take 20 minutes to cook, well worth the wait!
On Sunday there is a full menu available, in addition a traditional Sunday Roast of the day is available, please see the 'specials board' for details. .
Booking is advisable particularly for Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch.

On holiday for 5 days, looking for a nice country pub away from the town,quick look on the internet found us this little gem. Food was superb with a lovely setting, owner friendly too.Got talking to the guests beside us who were surprised we were on holiday and eating here, usually mostly the locals eat here , which speaks for itself.
