Just wanted to say what a good idea for the Markets to stay open later in run up to Christmas, I always try to support the markets and do my fruit and veg shopping there and as I work the extra hours have been most welcome.

My mum always shopped in the market for her 'fresh' items and I have followed her example. I love the fact that you get great choice, everything is so fresh and dealing with the stall holders who both know what they are selling and often brighten my day with some topical moans and groans. The Jersey Markets are part of Jersey life and I hope that they remain so for years to come.

I have been shopiping in the markets for years, I love the variety and the fact that so much fresh local produce is always available. The stallholders really know what they sell and can be relied upon to give good advice. I feel that all local people should make a point of supporting our wonderful markets.

Fresh, Clean, Original and Amazing. I love the markets we have in Jersey. Even though some of the shops/cafes in the market have changed the outside has not. Great display around Christmas every year. Jersey wouldn't be the same without its markets.

We only discovered the market on the very last day of our holiday when it was nearly time to come home, which was a real shame. I would highly recommend a visit, specially if you are staying in a place where you can do cooking yourself or you are a local (obviously!). Products were fresh as fresh can be and it's all there, under one roof, right in the centre of St Helier!

Jersey Markets are brilliant, there is so much choice, whether its meat, flowers or a unique gift it can be found in the market.Set in beautiful buildings, it is definately worth a look!
