The founders of ‘GOANDDONATE.com.’ have created a site where once you have registered you can then also identify any charity, club, association or deserving cause on the island to receive 80 % of the kick back commission normally benefiting the WEB site holders.
The site is the idea of four local residents who felt it only fair that with the need for islanders to get off the rock on such a regular basis there should be some pay back from travel companies to offset the large amounts they all invest in travel whether it be from the weekend trips to France, the inter island boat hopping trips, to the large corporations arranging away weekends for their staff plus, of course, the copious amounts of business travel.

The plan is for every travel company, be it plane, boat or “lily” to be included in the choice of booking options, together with hire cars, camp sites, cruises and package holidays . The site has been purposely designed to be very user friendly. You log in and identify your good cause and click on the box with the mode of travel you are looking for. Once the booking is made, a confirmatory e mail will be received in your e mail plus confirmation of the donation you have made.
