Marvellous March has come around again, and the team at MSH Wellbeing have come up with two marvellous treatments that celebrate the pampering properties of daffodils - a calming facial and regenerative massage...
As it previous years we will also be fundraising for the Marie Curie Cancer Appeal, with their wonderful yellow daffodil pin badges on sale for a donation in our reception. But in addition, this year, we are also sharing the fund raising effects with Cancer Is A Drag, a fledgling new charity that works to support people experiencing hardship during their cancer treatment, with the provision of small grants for the expenses of everyday living.

Marvellous March is our cancer awareness month. For male clients we are offering a FREE health consultation focusing on Testicular Cancer and Testicular Self Examination (TSE). Targeting those guys specifically at risk (those aged 15 - 45 yrs), our qualified nurse will talk you through and demonstrate TSE and provide a FREE information leaflet to take away.

Incorporating our House Signature facial, this offers a deep cleansing for all skin types, removing skin impurities and followed by exfoliation to remove the dead skin cells. A steam is followed with a relaxing daffodil infused facial massage, before application of a mask. The treatments end with the application of daffodil toner and moisturiser. You will enjoy the sweet green herbaceous odour and heavy floral undertones of daffodil in the air adding to the calming effects throughout the facial.
The facial incorporates calming oil of daffodil in its massage which may help to regulate the nervous system. This calming oil is diluted in Grapeseed Oil which is rich in Vitamin E and Fatty Acids. Applied to the skin it absorbs very quickly in and is a preferred cosmetic ingredient for damaged and stressed tissues possessing regenerative and restructuring qualities which allow better controlled re-hydration of the skin. A stimulating alcohol-free toning lotion containing daffodil extracts which help to stimulate sebaceous glands is designed for drier skin. It may energise tired, dull skin leaving it more radiant.

Whilst this treatment is suitable for all skin types, those with known allergies or hyper-sensitive skin should advise the therapist during the pre-treatment consultation, and may not be suitable for this treatment.
We ask female clients to ensure they have removed all make-up and skin care products before attending for their facial treatment.
Men are asked to be clean shaven prior to attending for their facial treatment. Those with facial hair or beards are not excluded but many not experience the full benefits of the treatment.
