I own a property in WC1 and discovered Vaida at The Islington Co when looking up contact details on the net for letting agents I knew of from when I first purchased it 4 years previously.Seeing that their rates were keener I rang to find out more and agreed that we would be in touch to arrange meeting up when the maisonette became vacant and I was down in London. Before that happened I found potential tenants and when Vaida rang I thanked her for getting in touch and explained that I wouldn't be needing a letting agent after all. Instead of a cold,clinical quick "Bye-Bye" Vaida sounded - as indeed she has proved to be - genuinely pleased for me and assured me that if there was any problems or if anything needed doing all I had to do was get in touch and they would do whatever was required to help. She mentioned a few essential people/services that in the event of need they had on hand. She went the "extra mile". Our daughter and friends had lived there during Uni. without problems. Now that there wasn't one of the friends nearby Dad at hand it was good to have Viada as a contact/help as I live far away in Moray,Scotland. I noted her number in my diary writing "very polite and helpful". When I went to London to show the potentials the property I discovered that the group of 4 had become 3 as 1 "really wanted to live in Camden" and didn't want to commit to 12 months. The 3 seeing that the property was better than they thought,(with a life style not quite theirs (my assessment))-got cold feet. Naturally I rang Vaida and she came to meet me and view the property that morning. By mid afternoon the property details and photos she'd taken were on line and appointments to view made that evening. Two days later it was let. "Polite, Prompt, Professional-Perfect.I would recommend The Islington company without hesitation. Not only "Friendly" but "Fast" More than just a "company or business"
