Suffolk has a rich history of welcoming people from all over the world. Celebrating stories of arrival, community, and different cultures, this exhibition explores historical and contemporary experiences of migration to Suffolk from the end of World War Two up to today.
Discover moving and inspiring stories of generations of migrants who have made their home in Suffolk, and continue to shape the vibrant culture of the county today.
This exhibition, which has been co-curated by Suffolk Archives in collaboration with local community groups, marks the beginning of an ongoing effort to collect stories of migration. The aim is to ensure that these stories become an integral part of Suffolk's historical narrative for the benefit of future generations.
If you have a story you would like to share then Suffolk Archives would love to hear from you. Made possible by The National Lottery Heritage Fund
