Valentines Day. What an evening. Totally outstanding food and service with a smile. The mood and atmosphere for a little pub is second to none. I have been in many a restaurant and spent triple on the amount I have had tonight. Outstanding cannot put enough good word about The Bristol Arms.

In the 2.5 years I have been a customer, I hve never had cause to complain. The landlady and landlord and indeed the bar and restaurant staff have always been friendly and welcoming. A great place to socialise and make friends. My only local in my view.

Excellent family pub.
Excellent food especially the Fish n Chips and curry is also to die for.
Staff helpful and efficient.
The views over the River Stour breathtaking. Sunsets equal anywhere in the world. Best pub ever, ever, ever.

Sunday afternoons I enjoy relaxing at the Bristol Arms. One of the main reasons apart from the view is friendly staff.

This isn't your usual 'cliquey' village pub, it's welcoming and friendly. The food is great, the beer's good. There are table top games for little and big kids and there are awesome river views and the sunsets are beautiful.

What a lovely couple Ian and Chris are. I never knew they were the new owners. But they introduced themselves and were so helpful. The food was excellent, good prices. And you have to love the view at the Bristol Arms. Weʼll be back Ian and Chris

I can highly recommend a visit to the Bristol Arms, food was expertly cooked and reasonably priced. The welcome i received as an "out of towner" was terrific. Having met with Ian, Chris, Rob (the chef) and Natalie and learning that they had only just recently taken over i was totally convinced that this was going to be a family business that would succeed. The views across the river and watching the world go by with good food and a drink were a great way to spend a day. If in the area drop in as they also do coffe and cakes if drinking is not what you want.

Having met Chris and Ian at the Bristol Arms and enjoyed their excellent food, it is clear there are big things afoot at the Bristol.
We had a super meal, reasonably priced and Ian couldnʼt have been more helpful. Wonderful views on a lovely summerʼs night . . . perfect
