PUDDLEDUCKS Kindercare Day Nursery, Ipswich was established in October 1990.
Since then we have gradually expanded, maintaining an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality childcare. Our day nursery can accommodate children between the ages of three months and eight years.
Hello, I'm Kerry Gladden and I'm the owner of Puddleducks Kindercare Day Nursery.
Situated in a semi-rural setting close to Ipswich, our day nursery faces a wood, with views to the rear of Bourne Park, water meadows and the River Orwell.
I have had personal experience of working full-time while my daughters were young and therefore fully appreciate and understand the anxieties families have when parents return to work. I therefore aim to make things as smooth and painless as possible for you, by providing a friendly, stimulating, safe and healthy environment for your child to grow and develop during the important early years.
Philosophy
Psychologists, through extensive research have proven that half a child's intellectual growth takes place in the pre-school years. Here at Puddleducks Kindercare Day Nursery, Ipswich, we know that children learn and develop through play, by exploring, experimenting, investigating, questioning and doing.
The framework for our curriculum for our children is structured around the six areas of learning as outlined by the Department for Education and Skills.

Facilities
Indoors
Our Day Nursery has four rooms catering for different groups of children, as follows: 0-1 years; 1-2 years; 2-3 years; 3+ years.
Outdoors
Play areas to the side and rear provide grass and hard surfaces in a large garden that the children just love.
Dinners are freshly cooked using high quality ingredients and our meat is supplied by Creasey's, a family butcher in Woodbridge, vegetables and eggs from a local farm in Tattingstone and all other groceries are from supermarkets.
Opening times
We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.45pm, excluding Bank Holidays. We are closed for two weeks at Christmas, this includes Bank Holidays.
Full-time and sessional places are offered subject to availability, a minimum of one day or two sessions are required.

We have committed staff, who enjoy continuity of service and by August 2006, we will have successfully gained the Kitemark quality assurance scheme run by Suffolk County Council.
We have been inspected and approved by Ofsted in July 1997, July 1999 and February 2004 and have been awarded Investors In People, November 2005
