Hello, I'm Julia Stainer and I am the owner of Nelson Design UK, in Ipswich.
With a a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art and Design from Iowa State University, I have also gained an NVQ level four in Interior Design from Suffolk College, where I also taught for more than five years.
When listening to my clients' requirements, interpersonal communication is so important. I love listening to how people visualise their home.
And I always remember that this is your space, your office, your home.
Interior Design is very rewarding and at Nelson Design UK, here in Ipswich, there is nothing I enjoy more than hearing a client say, "I didn't think it could look that good."
That is often the case, but that finished article doesn't come fortuitously, it takes you as a client and us as quality interior designers to visualise just how it will end up looking.
One of our main strengths is our knowledge of architectural and period design. Individual requirements are vital and we also offer a consultation service for one-two hours, helping our clients reassure themselves on their interior design requirements.

My Design studio is co-located with Karlsson Scandinavian Design at 8, Tacket Street here in Ipswich. Karlsson specialise in the most desirable objects for your home, including a large range of fabrics from Scandinavia.
I have access to an extensive range of fabulous fabrics including those by ROMO and Natasha Marshall (Today Interiors).
