I have been searching for a hairdresser in Ipswich and read some very good reviews on here about Michael Richards. What a very pleasant experience. The salon is fresh, clean and calming. The staff are attentive and friendly. I hear the coffee is lovely but so is the tea with a good selection of fruit, green and other teas. Michael advised and cut my hair, he listened, really listened as well as advise. That alone is worth a positive review. I am happy with the cut and came out looking polished.

What you get at Michael Richards is class and service. The salon is beautifully decorated, it sparkles and the team are well presented and happy to work there. There is almost a 'family' atmosphere....not just because the owner and his daughter work under the same roof, but because you can tell they are a well established, organised team. The service is spot on, starting from the greeting at reception. It makes me smile that they have a menu of Hair Treatments you can indulge in and on the same menu is a selection of freshly ground coffees and speciality teas... all senses catered for! I have been going to this hairdressers for 13 years and before that I tried LOTS in Ipswich....but kept going back. Now I wouldnt go anywhere else. Sarah is a superstar, honest, talented, patient and kind. Its lovely to watch the team nurture the juniors too. Even now you can see Alex is going to be awesome :0) Try it, you will be glad you did.
Great cut, fab colour...and very relaxing wash,nearly fell asleep! Only second cut there both been perfect!highly recommended!
