The answer to this final question is simple:_

You may be prosecuted by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for non-compliance of regulations and not abiding by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. The adverse publicity for your company could be extremely damaging for you, and your client base.

But most importantly to comply with the requirements of HSE is good practice and in most cases just plain common sense.

J-Jaz Services offers cost effective delivery of first aid training to all types of business/organisation both large and small. Training in your workplace reduces costs of sending workforce away to be trained i.e. travel and accommodation costs. Distractions are avoided, and can fit with your deadlines and schedules. Finding suitable training accommodation nearby can also tailor the package to your needs, and still allow you to carry on business with your key people still at hand.

Our courses

HSE First Aid at Work (FAW) - £205 per person
Includes: HSE approved First Aid Book and HSE Certificate
Minimum on course: 6 persons
Maximum on course: 12 persons
The course is a full 3 day package and includes a final practical session, dealing with an emergency situation in your workplace, with outside assessors.

Alternatively you pay £1730 to conduct training at your location for a maximum of 12 persons, giving you a saving of £250. (The course is a 3 day training package and may be conducted over 3 days or split down over several weeks, alternative sessions will be considered).

This course will suit those businesses that have a small amount of Staff and medium to high injury risk rating or a business which employs 50+ persons.

HSE Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) - £85 per person
Includes: First Aid Book, Certificate
Minimum on course: 6 persons
Maximum on course: 16 persons
The course is a full day and includes a final practical session in dealing with an emergency situation in your workplace.

Alternatively you pay £400 +£6 per person for HSE certification to conduct training at your location for a maximum of 12 persons (The course is a 6 hour training package, with 2 hours of this time being related directly to your business and the related injuries that may occur. This course may be conducted on one day or split down over 2 half days, several evenings sessions may be considered)

This course would suit those businesses that have a small amount of Staff and low injury risk rating.

Basic First Aid Refresher including CPR - £55 per person
Minimum on course: 6 persons
Maximum on course: 16 persons
A training package aimed at in-date First Aiders (does not refresh the FAW).
The course is a half day and includes a final practical session in dealing with a minor injury situation.
Alternatively you pay £250 for training of up to 16 persons.

This course would suit those small businesses or local groups such as Scouts, Guides that have a small amount of Staff and low injury risk rating.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training - £55 per person
Minimum on course: 6 persons
Maximum on course: 16 persons
A half day course with a practical session using a training AED. A training package aimed at those that need to understand and practice using an AED. The course includes a final practical session in dealing with a situation. Alternatively you pay £250 for training of up to 16 persons.

This course will suit those groups that hold an AED on the premises. Training should be carried out every 6 months.

Paediatric First Aid for Schools and Kindergarten Staff - £150 per person
Includes: First Aid Book and Certificate
Minimum on course: 6 persons
Maximum on course: 16 persons
This is a 2 day course meeting the requirements under the relevant legislation.

This course may be conducted on 2 days or split down over half days within a 2 week period, several evenings sessions may be considered) Alternatively you pay £600 for up to 16 persons

Paediatric First Aid for Babies and Children - £85 per person
Includes: First Aid Book
Minimum on course: 6 persons
Maximum on course: 16 persons
A good course for new Mothers and Fathers and those that are carers to the young lasting 4-5 hours
