Hello my name is Alison Hines, and welcome to my company...welcome to A 4D Baby.
When I was pregnant I found it hard to find baby scanning that was affordable, professional and offered me the opportunity of a re-scan if the pictures of my baby were not up to acceptable standard.
So I decided to set up my own baby scanning company...A 4D Baby, at Martlesham Heath, near Ipswich.
That was back in July 2005 and since then we have opened studios in Huntingdon and Norwich, offering proud and excited parents the most precious momento of this very special time, a 3D image of their baby in real time.
At A 4D Baby, we try hard to make sure your experience is a special one because we know the importance of pregnancy.
So what is 4D baby scanning?
4D means you are watching a 3D image which is happening in real time. So as you are watching the baby and it kicks, you will feel the kick and see the baby kick on the screen at the same time.

Your baby scanning experience with us is purely for bonding purposes and the 4D scan is carried out in the same way as the hospital scan.
It is of course essential you have already had at least one hospital scan and it is best to come between the 24th and 32nd weeks of pregnancy.
We use the GE Voluson ultrasound machine, favoured by the majority of scanning studios and also used at our local hospital.
The scans we do are self elected, non diagnostic bonding scans, in other words we don't do medical scans.
