As the "14 Days of Love" campaign drew to a close at midnight on Valentine's Day, 3 local businesses came top of their respective categories.
Town centre Bistro Bar, Leonardo's topped the category of "Bistros and Bars" by a clear margin. The other two "Most Loved" businesses were; Pole 4 Fitness, based on Anlaby Road, who won the category "Dance Schools and Classes" the third business to pick up "Lots of Love" were The Cake Cabin, on Holderness Road, who won the category for "Cakes"
I was with the delighted winners at Leonardo's, at lunch time today to share the excitement, where we were joined by a senior photographer from The Hull and East Riding Mail, much to the curiosity of several people, wondering what was going on!
I would personally like to congratulate the winners on what was a fantastic achievement, and also thank the 1000's of local people who joined in the campaign by completing lots of testimonials for their favourite businesses.
