Holmfirth Duck Race and Gala
10,000 Yellow Ducks racing from the centre of Holmfirth to The Sands launched by The Huddersfield Giants at 2pm.
The Holmfirth Duck Race is an annual event (2009 with be the 26th) organised by Huddersfield Pendragon Round Table.
To date over £200,000 has been raised with all proceeds going to mainly local charities.
The Gala starts at 11am on The Sands with the Ducks been launched by The Huddersfield Giants from the centre of Holmfirth with the race finishing at the Gala field.
The Gala includes entertainment, food, drink inc. licensed bar, and fair ground. Additional stall holders are welcome - please contact Wayne Goodman
