Local Engineering firm, David Brown Engineering is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2010. Originally founded in 1850 the company has a proud history of innovation and engineering excellence.
As part of its year long celebrations, David Brown Engineering is hosting a Family Fun Day on 19th June at Ravensknowle park which is free and is open to anyone. The day starts at 10am and there are a whole host of events, demonstrations and exhibitions planned.
Amongst the many attractions there will be a DB Tractor Club display an opportunity to see a world class DB Aston Martin Car Exhibit and a Challenger 2 Battle Tank Demonstration.
Other events include 'We're a Knock Out', Huddersfield Town Football competition and graffiti artist Marens Sparks will be showing off his unique talents. Suga Brown Dance School will be performing and there will also be a Fun Fair for all the family. There will be a good selection of food available.
