At 5 months pregnant, feeling tired and suffering from the normal aches and changes that pregnancy brings. In search of a relaxing treatment, I stumbled across the Tranquil Waters website via the internet, to my surprise this is a treatment salon that specialised in treatments for the mum to be, Ideal! On the 31st January, I booked a yummy mummy massage. I was curious at first of what this would entail and how it would feel. I was a little nervous as a pregnant person would be, just curious about the different procedures & care to be massaged when pregnant. Upon my arrival Jezelyn sat down with me and went through my symptoms and well being and then continued to explain what the massage entailed and how it would the massage would be carried out. I found this most reassuring and quickly felt comfortable in my relaxed surroundings. The massage took place on a hot water mattress to support the body weight and special oil was used to massage the body. This was comforting and by the end of the massage my skin felt smooth, my body felt totally relaxed and I felt like a new person. The yummy tummy massage is beneficial and I would recommend this massage to any pregnant lady that feels like pampering herself, well being is important during this time. It made me feel better and prepared my muscles for the forthcoming growth period, I have even booked in againâ¦
I had reflexology during my pregnancy and found the staff welcoming and informative. I am looking forward to returning for a Motherʼs pampering session now my son is born.
