The bedroom was above my expectations - and clean with good facilities. My room was like an appartment which was great. There was a wide selection at breakfast and the waiter was very friendly. The University recommended to me and I will recommend to others.

I initially chose this hotel because of the price and location. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the bedroom, bathroom, cleanliness and facilities were all of a high standard, and from start to finish my stay was very enjoyable.

We were greeted by name when we arrived at the hotel. The facilities were superb and it was inexpensive. The breakfast was fabulous. Great car parking facilities and location.

The staff were brilliant from initial enquiry to departure. The bedroom was lovely, spotless and with all the facilities needed. The conservatory area was lovely, and what's more, the prices were very reasonable.

Originally I chose the Central Lodge through recommendation of a friend when attending a wedding. The breakfast is the best and has been for a long time! All the facilities, staff, and cleanliness are all very good. In fact I liked everything about my stay here.

I found all the staff to be professional, smart and polite. I was very happy with the welcome I received on arrival, and the facilities. Breakfast was good, prices reasonable, and I would recommend and stay here again.

I stayed here as it was an ideal location for visiting my son at Huddersfield University. I was impressed with the excellent bedroom, bathroom, cleanliness and facilities in general. And the breakfast was very good and the rates reasonable.

We really like to stay at Huddersfield Central Lodge as we always get good service, the facilities are good and the breakfast is fantastic - spoilt for choice!

Found this hotel really handy for the town centre. Our bedroom was very nice and roomy, and the prices reasonable. Staff were most helpful throughout the stay. Would definitely stay again.

Recently stayed here and would be happy to recommend. Our room had a lovely bed, big TV, it was very clean and the breakfast was amazing.

After a few stays in Travelodges for about the same price this place was amazing. Friendly staff, great breakfast (very nearly as good as the farmhouse breakfasts I ate as a child), free wifi and good advice on where to eat.
It is in quite a quiet location and I slept with the window open without disturbance. The room was well equipped and a good size with a comfortable bed.The only downside compared with a Travelodge is that the room had obviously been smoked in at some point and there was a bit of a lingering smoke smell. This wasn't too strong but it did hit me when I first entered the room and when I returned in the evenings.

Spent 3 weeks on a business trip in Huddersfield. Huddersfield Central lodge is a wonderfull B and B style local family owned lodging run by wonderful folks who make u feel at home. Rooms are neat wth great character, (both of which I stayed in had a little kitchenette which was very handy, with a min refrigerator, stove top, microwave, nice little bar as well with good company always at hand. Unique service feature is one which the lodge will order for you from the neighbourhood restaurants and even arrange for pick up if needed. And then they will provide you with all the cutlery/ plates and so on to dine in the lounge area!
Great breakfast options for either dining in or cereal bars/ baked goodies/ fruits available for grab n go.
All in all a great experience.

The hospitality is second to none. I stayed at Huddersfield Central Lodge for one night due to a very short trip in Yorkshire and I will honestly say that the treatment was first class. From the moment I arrived for check in to the time I left the following day. Even though I paid for one night with a complementary bed and breakfast they (The owners of the establishment) give me breakfast that morning whilst my room was being prepared. Check in is normally in the afternoon but having arrived at 10am they still fed me with a full English breakfast, carried my bags to the room and called me about five minutes later to see if everything was okay. In addition to that they even helped me get to where I was going by finding out the bus route and stop I need to reach my destination.

I would strongly recommend this lovely, warm, friendly and very professional lodge to anyone who is staying in Huddersfield.

I had a lovely stay at Central Lodge when I came on university business. The staff were extraordinarily helpful--including fetching a gorgeous Thai takeaway for me and setting me a place in the bar/dining room to eat it with a complimentary beer! The bed was very comfortable and there were nice touches, like a note mentioning the black-out shades (a very apt reminder, as otherwise I'd have been woken very early in my east-facing(?--well, very bright at least) room. Comfy, comfy bed.
I would say that this is excellent value. And very well-placed for university visits.

Chose this hotel because I read that it is dog-friendly and from customer feedback. The welcome, rooms, cleanliness were all very good. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend - and the comments about being dog-friendly were very true!

Huddersfield Central Lodge has a great town centre location. Friendly welcome on arrival. Facilities very good and clean. Enjoyed the breakfast.

Rates are very reasonable for what you get. Very central - but quiet and full of character. Service is unobtrusive but friendly and efficient.

My room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts were a highlight and the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Would recommend.

I cannot remember how many times I have stayed at the Central Lodge, Huddersfield. The rooms are spacious, warm and contain all you need. Nothing seems too much trouble for the day or night staff.

This is an awsome place to stay, not because it is a fancy place, but because of good old-fashioned customer service. This was most noticable in the morning when the friendly staff greet you and roll out one heck of a breakfast. This place is great.

This would have to be the best hotel I have stayed in recently. Staff were so friendly and even remembered our breakfast orders from the day before. Plenty of advice on what to see and do, fantastic value for money. Can't rate them highly enough.

A really friendly hotel situated in the heart of Huddersfield with large comfortable rooms. I was made to feel extremely welcome and will happily rebook when my travels take me back to Huddersfield.
