Like the opportunity to sell up to 2 of your artworks during the Hitchin Festival this summer? If you are a featured artist at this year’s event, your art could appear in the window of one of Hitchin Town Centre’s participating shops from 2nd to 24th July
If you've never tried on a corset, now's your chance as Hitchin museum host an exhibition from 12th March -30th April with replicas from 1600 to 1910 and you can try one on and see how it changes your figure. Who knows, you might take a liking to them!

In 2010 ROTW Community Arts Team got involved with a number of local community projects, artists, and schools. They want to involve more local schools and groups in 2011.
The new term at Clay with Carole starts this week. Small friendly groups with individual tuition. Explore different methods of working with clay. Learn methods, decoration and glazing. Classes are suitable for beginners and more experienced.
Local Hitchin lady Carole Sender runs ceramic art classes from a custom made workshop in her back garden. Classes are up to 7 people at one time to ensure that you get a much attention from the tutor. No experience is necessary and is at your own pace.
Diwali (Festival of Lights) is one of the biggest festival of Hindus and yet I couldn't find any mention of events/celebrations in the Hitchin area? Can anyone shine any light on this? Sorry appalling use of words!
Rhythms of the World 2010 is looming and there are plenty of jobs that still need volunteers to help out. Can you spare 4 hours on either 24th or 25th July (or both!)?
Well done to Hitchin ROTW who have just won an award in the arts, culture and heritage category at the 2010 Charity Awards. A credit to Hitchin and every single volunteer who gets involved.
