The Barn can accommodate up to 150 wedding guests for seated dining at round tables with ample room for dancing to our house DJ, Jazz band or any other band. The master of ceremonies will welcome your guests, who can enjoy a champagne toast followed by a three course meal and evening snacks.

Catering is provided under the supervision of first class chef, Jeff Patterson, whose extensive experience includes two years at the Dorchester Hotel and as private chef to his Excellency the Governor of Bermuda where he cooked for HM the Queen and other members of the royal family.

The Tithe Barn
The Tithe Barn at The Priory has been lovingly restored to it former glory and has become one of the premier barn wedding venues in the country. It dates back to 1541 to the reign of Henry VIII, is 100 feet long and 40feet wide and was made with local oak cut down in the winter of 1540.

Civil Ceremonies
Located in Little Wymondley near Hitchin, The Priory Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies. These can take place either in the Barn itself or in the outdoor gazebo, weather permitting. Either way your civil wedding ceremony is assured to be an intimate and exclusive occasion.
