Karina's approach was very warm and calm with a good touch of humour too! The treatment room at her home is perfect, peaceful and relaxing in itself. My feet were very tender when I arrived but after the session I felt very relaxed and even sleepy. Karina has an incredibly calming manner about her and she has a great ability to instantly put you at ease and make you feel relaxed. I went to see Karina from Sweet Feet yesterday to try a reflexology session. I was rather nervous as I have a 'thing' about people touching my feet! I also booked in for a head, neck and shoulder massage. All I can say is that I was so relaxed after the session - no need to feel nervous at all! The head massage was amazing. I could feel my shoulders slowly coming down and relaxing as Karina firmly massaged the knots of tension of of them.When Karina came to work on my feet, I couldn't actually believe how relaxed I was. Infact at one point I must have almost dozed off! An hour of Karina working pressure points on my feet was actually so good that I have booked another appointment straight away.She works alot with pregnant ladies (which I am not!!!) but reflexology is suitable for anyone. I would highly recommend Karina from Sweet Feet. She operates from her therapy room in Letchworth but also offers treatments in your own home too. My baby is almost due and I've been having reflexology from Karina for the past few weeks. It is a totally amazing experience and one I wish I'd found earlier in my pregnancy. I feel fully relaxed and calm after my treatment and Karina's kind, caring and supportive approach is wonderful. I have responded well to treatments and really do beleive it has been effective. A really wonderful treatment that every pregnant person should consider.
I was recommended Sweet Feet after four failed attempts of IVF. I had just about given up when I started a course of reflexology with Karina, who is the kindest and most gentle person I have met.I thoroughly enjoyed the treatments and carried on through another course of IVF which resulted in a healthy pregnancy. I met Karina Hirani and was a client of Sweet Feet Reflexology when I was pregnant with my daughter. Reflexology was a lovely way to relax in the later stages of my pregnancy and Karina was very supportive and professional in every way.
Karina immediately made me feel relaxed and after my first reflexology session, she had explained so much about my health. She treated me as a whole person and I really appreciated all of her advice and support. I loved having reflexology and always came away feeling better. After my course of six treatments, I was delighted to find I was pregnant. This may of course have been a coincidence but I don't think so. I wish I lived near Hitchin so I could still get Sweet Feet's reflexology treatment.
I'd never had reflexology before, but my midwife recommended it when I was eight-and-a-half months pregnant, as the baby was lying with her back against my back, which could have resulted in a long and (even more!) painful delivery.I had two sessions with Karina, both of which were extremely relaxing. She was lovely and very easy to get along with and I immediately felt at ease. I was amazed how she could identify which areas I had problems with - such as an allergy and pain in my lower back - from my feet.I'd always been a bit sceptical of reflexology, but my treatements with Karina changed all that. Particularly as the baby turned round so her back was lying against my stomach resulting in a very hassle-free, straight forward labour. Phew!I highly recommend Sweet Feet, both as a relaxation technique and as a natural aid to any ailments. Thanks Karina! Kathleen
Karina Hirani of Sweet Feet Reflexology delivers a superb service. Not only is she a brilliant practitioner that really knows her stuff - but she is very compassionate. Therefore it is really great to spend time with her as a person as well. She has the most amazing technique and a brilliant way of dealing with people! I met her while I was heavily pregnant and she really helped me relax and feel more comfortable in those last weeks - I wish I had started seeing her earlier! After the birth of my baby I continued with treatment and it was brilliant to have an hour a week when I could just relax and have some "me-time" it always made me feel revitalised and refreshed. I would recommend her services to everybody. I think everybody can benefit from it, but especially expecting mothers, people working in stressful environments and people with small babies.
I was overdue by 8 days when i went to see Karina for the 1st time. After a very enjoyable session, I waited but nothing happened. so I went for a 2nd session 3 days later and then the same day i went into labour. Karina was very professional, gave me some great advice and I delivered a healthy baby boy without being induced which was something i didn't want at all cost. I would like to thank Karina for helping me out and giving mother nature a helping hand. I would recommend to anyone overdue and getting worried to try reflexology, it's natural, painfree and very relaxing. Would definitely recommend Karina as she's such a nice person, very professional.
