I took my daughter to Shine Hitchin yesterday for a hair cut and I have to say I was very impressed. Everybody was friendly and the atmosphere in the salon was very relaxed. My daughter is delighted with her hair cut. Terri really listened to what she wanted and made her feel special :)

Maria is a superb stylist,I love the way she cuts colours and dries my hair,always takes her time, never rushes, and if she is running a bit late it is because she takes time to do the best for her clients,and we don,t mind waiting for her(not that I usually have to wait !)The salon is friendly, and a nice drink is always offered.You won't be disappointed if you visit Shine......

Stumbled across this hair studio one wet Sunday afternoon.I discovered a whole social experience and a brilliant stylist.Terri and her team offer professional advice based on whats good for the customer.I recieved top treatment at a less than top price.A relaxed atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff completed the 'feel good'factor for me.I have returned again and again and the service remains consistently high.I have recommended Shine to family and friends and they agree with me Shine is so much more than 'just'a hairdressers.And its open on a Sunday!

I found Shine open on a Sunday & had my hair cut & blow dried by Terri. I was over the moon & have since been back for a colour & took my boyfriend for a cut with Terri who is a very skilled barber too.My Mum has since visited Aimie & my friend had a cut & colour with Blaise. We are all very pleased & love the relaxed atmosphere of Shine.

I would recommend SHINE any day. Maria is a great hairdresser and I have had loads of compliments about my haircuts since she has been doing my hair! She is also really flexible in re-arranging appointments and is great at keeping to time. She listens to me and is easy to talk to - which is is very helpful in a hairdresser!

Why would I recommend Shine? Firstly - why not! Small is good. I hate those large salons with constant noise from staff and clients. Having your hair done should be a pleasant, calming experience, with pleasant staff. Staff who make you feel important not self obsessed staff. Reasonable prices helps too!
