Established in November 2010, Shine is a hairdressers and barbers in one, with a wide range of quality womenâs and menâs hair dressing services available, including LâOreal hair colour, designer menâs haircuts, wedding and special occasion hair and hair extensions
Situated on Bucklersbury, Hitchin, Shine is a new and exciting unisex salon with a difference.
The stylists and barbers at Shine understand that men and women have very different needs when visiting a hair salon. Therefore, Shine has two distinct sections - a funky yet functional barber shop at the front and a more feminine, opulent ladies salon at the rear of the building.
Open seven days a week, Shine is owned and run by Terri Carline, a talented hairdresser and barber, who has run a successful barber shop in Luton for the past 8 years. She has over 30 years experience and worked for many years in London & New York. She is ably assisted by two local stylists, Maria and Angela who are both known in Hitchin for their professional styling and positive, friendly manner. Angela is a colour specialist.
Students can enjoy 20% off at Shine; OAPs will also be offered a discount of 25% on all men's and women's haircuts and styling.

Ladies Hairdressing
Step through the barber shop and enter our funky, feminine ladies hair salon, combining top quality styling expertise with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Customers can also buy the products Shine's stylists use to take home, ensuring glossy, salon quality hair every day of the week!
