Back in December we decided to have our works do at the theatre and chose the Adult Panto. What a scream! Considering there were only 3 cast members they had us in tears with their quick changes and banter. Not for the prudish but hilarious fun - I believe its on for a while yet so try it. Can't wait to see their thriller/mystery plays if the players are as good as the trio we saw.

We went to see the Christmas adult panto in Dec, it was the first time I'd been and didn't really know what to expect. We had a really great time, it was hilarious. It was my first visit but certainly not my last!

Fantastic Adult panto last night, the cast were great and despite low numbers because of the snow they gave it 110%. We laughed so much, super storyline and everything Ive enjoyed in the past 6 years of going and more. It Was funny when one of our group had left his wallet up in the bar and it was presented to him during the performance and then referenced throughout the show! Well done.

They provide great entertainment and shows for adults and children and are well priced for an out of London Venue. There is always a warm welcome and they have a lovely bar.

The Market Theatre is a reason to be glad you live in Hitchin! We are trying not to miss any of their shows this year. The world-famous adult panto, the cabaret and comedies are not to be missed and the hour-long format means you can go for a meal afterwards and make an evening of it. Recently we have seen some of the historical dramas (Joan of Arc and Nell Gwyne), and each time Iʼve been thrilled by the acting, and learned loads about the historical character. We love the Market Theatre! If you are missing any shows you are missing out. Helpful tip: wear a coat, coz itʼs sometimes cool in there!

We went to see the whodunnit play which was really cleverly done. We didnʼt get the answers right either! We had a few drinks in the Long Bar before and then into the play. I would recommend going to see a performance. Only an hour long but really enjoyable!
