Charles Wilson Carpets is a family run business with over 38 years experience in the industry. We have recently started a mobile facility so all boards and samples can be brought to your home or business if you prefer. Not only do we have a wide range of carpets and flooring, we also offer rugs and wooden floorings too.

Wooden Flooring

Situated on Hermitage Road, Hitchin, Charles Wilson (Carpets) Ltd offers a wide range of laminate sampling covering all colours, from pale beech to deep mahogany, featuring leading brands such as:

We also carry our own range of affordable engineered wood, called the Hermitage Collection. Charles Wilson (Carpets) Ltd is committed to only stocking good quality, well seasoned wood from sustainable sources such as:

Charles Wilson (Carpets) Ltd offer Hitchin customers a small selection of modern and traditional rugs on-site. We also have a larger range that is available to order from a variety of catalogues, including:

• Plantation rugs: enjoy a range of traditional and contemporary rugs that will provide inspiration for any home at budgets that will suit most purse strings

• Lano: Experienced expert weaving from Belgium, featuring modern and classic patterns in both wool & synthetic. Choose from varying qualities and a wide range of prices

• Axminster Carpets: beautiful top quality sheepskins in natural shades and 17 colours. Rugs come in singles, doubles and quad sizes.

We can also make rugs up from any of our stock ranges of carpet and have them bound or fringed to suite your taste and colour scheme. You should think about:

• Colour (it doesn't have to match)
• Design (think about the overall look of your room)
