I have been a member of Nuffield Health for the last six months and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with them. The health mot that they offer has enabled me to track my fitness and showed me all of the improvements I have made. Since joining them I have increased my fitness, lost weight and increased muscle tone as well as finding enjoyment for exercise that I have never experienced before. The team are helpful and friendly and the personal trainers have made me increase my confidence , motivation and success with exercise. This gym is not only about pounding the machines but a holistic health approach. The facilities are great and the membership packages flexible and reasonable. I genuinely have never enjoyed going to the gym as much as I do now. I would thoroughly recommend people joining this gym above others as they really do support your healthy new lifestyle as well as offer great facilities, brilliant health demonstrations and excellent staff.

I recently went for a swim at Nuffield Health with my husband and daughter. The changing rooms are clean and spacious and the pool is lovely.
When the club used to be Cannons I found it a great club but it lacked a bit of atmosphere. Since Nuffield have taken over it has atmosphere in abundance alongside extremely social able and friendly members. The classes for me are the best part of the club with such a wide variety with some fantastic instructors. I strongly recommend Spin with Harry Knott
I have been a member of Nuffield now for just over 14 monthâs and I honestly canât fault anything about my time here so far. The best part for me is peak hours where most other clubs I have been too in the past seem to be over crowded but at Nuffield this never seems to be the case. The fitness instructors are also very helpful and are always there to assist.
I have recently joined Nuffield and so far have found my experience highly enjoyable and very rewarding. The Health MOT you have when you first start is fantastic as it gives me an indication of my health and helps begin my journey to a more active and healthier lifestyle
By far the best gym in the area with regards to facilities. Very nice, well equipped, clean and well designed gym, with a good range of cardio equipment, as well as more freeweighs that 90% of the gyms around here offer and of course the strength machines for those who want to waste their time on them. The pool is great and always busy and the spa area is very well kept, and unlike Parkwood the steamroom and sauna are always in working order. Showers are good andt he lockers are nice and spacious. Getting a free towel as you come in is a great simple service, provided by the friendly and helpful staff. Overall a very good gym and reasonably good value for money, especially if you can get a corporate deal with them.
I have been a member of Cannons for a while now and am very happy to recommend it. As well as all the normal cardio machines & weights etc. Cannons has a lovely pool with steam room & sauna. There is a wide range of classes to suit everyone ALSO - plenty of FREE PARKING!
