At the heart of the Ad-Hoc Jazz Combo are local musicians, George Howe (Alto/Soprano), Julian Wells (Bass) and Richard White (Keyboards). They also have a number of talented guest musicians that can join them for larger events.

As Ad-Hoc's George explains, "although our core members are purely musicians, the Ad-Hoc Jazz Combo can provide a vocalist to sing classics such as 'Killing Me Softly', 'Don't Know Why' and 'Ol Devil Called Love' to name just a few".
"We can also add drums if needed, giving our clients the option of a two, three, four or five-piece jazz band". The band can be booked for any kind of occasion with a line up from 2 – 7 band members that include very talented local musicians. If you have not heard of “Lindy Hop”, it’s a kind of swing, jive style dancing that came in from America in the 50’s and we provide the music for dance sessions all over the county.
