It is important that you are aware that as from February 2010 all gas engineers who undertake servicing or repair of Band A or B Condensing boilers will have to hold the relevant Gas Safe qualification CPA1 - use of flue gas analyser. This new regulation has been introduced in response to incidents where unqualified gas engineers, who have been servicing these appliances, have left them in a potentially dangerous condition.

Always check that the gas engineer servicing your boiler is qualified to undertake the type of work that they are undertaking.  Ask the engineer for their Gas Safe card and check the listed qualifications on the back of the card. If in any doubt, go onto the Gas Safe website and check out the engineer’s registration.

Roy Lee Plumbing & Heating is fully qualified for domestic boiler servicing and repairs plus use of a flue gas analyser. If you have any concerns about gas safety or your gas appliances then Roy Lee would be pleased to answer your queries.
