We saw Matt Kirshen, Rosie Wilby and Nathan Caton last week and all were fab. The new owner, Phil Smith, takes delight in what he does as well as being very funny on stage himself. Hats off to him for taking over and running it so well. It's a must if you're within 10 miles of Ruislip.
The Comedy Bunker is unique, being above Ruislip Golf Club and offering a venue with an imtimate atmosphere ; its L-shaped room gives you a chance to get up close to the comedians, although sometimes you might wish you hadn't chosen the front row!Joel Sanders runs the show with great enthusiasm as a one-man band, checking the sound and lights etc right up to the last minute. His dedication is paying off, offering us some of the best up coming comedians in the UK, as well as those dearly loved established ones. Interesting regular mailings keep you abreast of the shows coming up, with the opportunity to pre-book at slightly lower prices than on the door. This is an informal, intimate venue that thrives on the quality of the comedians, many of whom are household names. The maestro, Joel has an unerring eye for promoting up and coming acts who all share the priceless quality of actually being funny. From time to time there will be a mystery gig where a famous name 'off the telly' treats the audience to their latest material. This is the best comedy club in an upstairs room at a golf club anywhere in the world.
The comedy bunker is a unique experience, very personable for a comedy club, yet still draws in big crowds. All the comedians are vetted and chosen by the organiser, Joel Saunders, who makes sure there is never a bad comic onstage.

Lovingly run by Joel, the acts are never short of top quality, often perform extended sets, all in an intimate and friendly environment for the true comedy connoisseur. The Comedy Bunker is a fantastic place to go. It's local to the town, and has an amazing atmosphere when you get there. They have some really famous acts, and also some new talent which gives anyone a chance to have some fun for a very reasonable price! I've always enjoyed my visits to The Comedy Bunker, whether it's been a big audience for Harry Hill, or a more intimate gig for Fergus Craig and Robin Ince. Keep up the good work!x
The Comedy Bunker is like having the best comedians coming to perform live in your living room - almost!On our first visit we were superbly warmed up with the very funny compere Joel Sanders, followed by the equally hilarious Fergus Craig.The main attraction though was the legendary Harry Hill. A brilliant night out at a fantastic, friendly venue. Go - you wont be disappointed.

If you live in Ruislip, as we do, it is brilliant that you do not need to travel into Central London to see all your favourite big-name comedians, only 10 minutes drive from your home!Joel somehow manages to persuade them to come out to West Ruislip and perform to a very mixed age range, and they happily do!
The Comedy Bunker is great. It is quite a small, intimate venue but they have some really well known acts on. We even saw the fab Harry Hill there! The atmosphere is superb, everyone should go there at least once in their lifetime!
I think of The Comedy Bunker as my secret little gem. Every act I've seen there has been top class, and that includes the warm up acts and the intros from Joel himself. I saw Mike Wilmot there, one of my favourite comedians whom hardly any of my friends have heard of, and whose show I never thought I'd be lucky enough to see live in the UK. When I take my friends there and see them almost crying with laughter, I know it's a job well done. What more can you ask for? Check it out. Do it now.

The owner is dedicated to comedy and consistently books terrific acts, including those who you haven't seen for a while, up-and-coming, and well-established acts. The venue is welcoming and relaxed too!
